Job Description:

This is a very brief synopsis of the job duties and requirements of a Carpenter.  Please note that these are only some of the main duties that you will be doing.  Other duties may be required by your Supervisor in order to continue the daily operations of this Company and your cooperation is expected and appreciated.

• At least  two (2) years experience as a Carpenter Helper

• Accurate setting of both wood and steel concrete forms on grade.  Some vertical forming required.
• Must be able to square forms
• Must be able to achieve tight form joints at intersections so concrete doesn’t leak
• Stripping forms
• Light slab preparation
• Light rebar tying.
• Light excavation and backfilling with a shovel
• Cutting and carrying of lumber
• Repeated standing, bending, pushing and pulling for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day
