Job Description:

This is a very brief synopsis of the job duties and requirements of a Finisher.  Please note that these are only some of the main duties that you will be doing.  Other duties may be required by your Supervisor in order to continue the daily operations of this Company and your cooperation is expected and appreciated.

• Placing and finishing of horizontal concrete
• Vibration/strike-off/floating and finishing of concrete using a walk-behind trowel or a riding trowel.  Some broom finish.
• Curing of concrete using curing compounds or wet curing methods
• Use of highway straightedge, straightedge, jointers and edgers
• A lot of night work and traveling is involved
• Repeated standing, bending, pushing and pulling for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day
