Tilt-up concrete construction is a technique of site casting concrete panels on a flat, horizontal surface, preferably a floor slab or a temporary casting bed.
Panels are laid out on the slab or special casting surface.
Panels are formed including any reveal and special form work and bond breaker is applied
Structural reinforcing is added along with any embeds and lifting devices
Concrete is poured into panels and cured
Forms are removed and bracing is installed
Crane is attached at lifting points and the panel is moved to a vertical position
Panels are braced back to the slab or deadmen
The pour strip is backfilled with fill material or rock and then this section of slab is placed
